Freightplus Thailand Rebrands to Become FPT Global

To all our valued clients, associates and project partners, we are excited to announce that we have rebranded the company effective of January 2020. The directors and management teams made the decision to rebrand due to the continued growth we have experienced in the region throughout 2019, along with the creation of our new renewables division and the opening of our new Vietnam office.

As part of our rebranding process, our company name has changed from Freightplus Thailand to FPT Global. This name change is part of our strategy targeted to emphasise the strength of our capabilities, our growth, and our commitment as we expand into new regions and sectors.

As a result of the rebrand, we are now able to expand upon our services, accomplish local and global growth objectives, while continuing to develop new client relationships.

Launched in November 2019, the new FPT Global Renewables Division is currently working on two projects in Japan and Vietnam with several more scheduled for 2020. To lead this new division, FPT Global has appointed Ronald Johnson as Director of Renewables. Ron began his career in renewable energy as an installation technical advisor for GE and quickly progressed to the highest level of North America’s Pole Installation Manager. He is a results-driven professional with a history of critical thinking, problem-solving and effective communication on a multitude of renewable energy projects and will be an invaluable addition to the FPT Global Directorate.

The new Vietnam office, located in Ho Chi Minh City and will be headed up by Brett Malcolm, Brett has over 25 years’ experience in the logistics sectors, including 16 years in Vietnam itself. His diverse experience ranges from simple freight forwarding activity to large-scale heavy-duty projects through Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar. Over the last two years, we have worked on several successful projects with Brett and his companies, making him the perfect choice to run our Vietnamese operations.

During the rebranding process, you will start to see changes to our brand identity this includes our website, social media profiles, and new logo, apart from that its business as usual. Finally, we want to take this opportunity to thank our loyal clients, associates and project partners. Without you, our success would not be possible, and we look forward to a productive 2020 with you all.
